Humble beginnings in the footsteps of a legend
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS:
BRENDAN DELOS Founder & Director of
East Side Guitar Repairs, had a humble start as a guitar tech at legendary Melboune based CARGILL CUSTOM GUITARS, Brendon worked closely alongside Merv & James Cargill. Of the many years working at Cargill Custom Guitars, Brendan built on his skill base and attention to detail. Honing the art of fine guitar building using traditional guitar Luthiering and combining them with modern method aspects of Guitars building, Brendan has been able to create a wealth of knowledge & expertise over the years.
During his tenure at Cargill Custom Guitars, Brendan also had the opportunity to work on, Setup & Repair Stage & Tour guitars for some of the biggest name bands to visit & play in Australia.
Over many years Brendan built up a large & loyal customer base. Observing the lack of high quality Guitar Rrepairers in Melbourne, he decided to strike out on his own in 2018, hoping he could offer quality workmanship with exceptional personal service to the Melbourne music scene.
4 years later & one could easily say he has met those expectations.
